Uttam's Indian cookery class was very good value, provided in a small intimate group.Apart from hands on experience... for all members of the group, Uttam provided a useful overview of which spices relate to which part of the diverse Indian kitchen.Making samosas from scratch was invaluable, and they tasted delicious.And at the end of the session, everyone had a banquet to take home, all made by themselves - the Peas Pillau was especially tasty.I would recommend Rama Indian street food and cookery club for anyone who wanted to learn how to make authentic Indian food, in a pleasant environment, from a knowledgeable chef with an extremely patient manner.read more

We had a great afternoon at Rama cookery club.Uttam is an excellent chef and knows how to share his knowledge and... skills .We were a small group and relaxed into making vegetable samosas together.Next Uttam demonstrated a chicken curry whilst sharing skills and info on spices and methods used.A dhal dish, cucumber raita,pilau rice and salad on the side completed the course.There were lovely spice filled trays to buy(£20)filled with main spices used in menu today to purchase.We shared out the food that was cooked to take home and there was plenty of it.We would really recommend trying these classes.£55 per person was value considering the experience and plentiful food to take home.Mary and Steve Crossread more
